i start school again the 27th of August
im just hoping and wishing that WEMW continues next year too
just so 태진 오빠 can have a chance to come too~~!



DAY 4 - June 29, 2008
DMZ ... 정주대학교 ... E-Mart




mornings are usually not for me, but when i'm in Korea
it doesn't matter ><

it was an early morning and we had to be ready, packed, and bring all our luggage
to the main lobby to pack on the bus headed to the DMZ
the DMZ area, which for people who don't know
it stands for "Demilitarized Zone" and it serves as the separation between the
north and south korea... we ended up going to the 3rd tunnel on the strip
to enter, we have to present our passports to a guard who enters the bus
i forgot mine in my luggage so i had to get that out before we left
Mel didn't bring his along since he left everything at 전주

on the DMZ tour, we had a lovely tour guide who told us many facts and interesting
topics about the separation between the two countries

DAY 3 ... Korea/Japan 2008 [Jul. 28th, 2008|03:34 pm]

so i thought i was gonna start working again sometime during the week
but it seems i don't start until this Friday... my usual nightly shifts
i can't wait to tell Dave and Juan EVERYTHING ^_^



DAY 3 - June 28, 2008
경복궁 ... National Museum of Korea ... 용산




it was another new day, and this time we woke up to head off to another palace
this time it was 경복궁 [Gyeongbokgung]
it was one of the largest palaces... and it surely is cause there was so much to see,
but before we entered the palace
there was some sort of performance/cultural display of traditional guards
marching and playing instruments... and since we had time before all of that
we headed to a museum that was right next door to the palace:
National Palace Museum of Korea

within the museum we basically saw the different arts and objects
collected from the palace of the Joseon Dynasty





the whole atmosphere within the museum
reminded me of the korean drama: Goong [Princess Hours]
the clothing and setting... now i understood that feeling

at the exit of the museum
they had water [korea's never ending supply~~]
with folding paper cups... pretty nifty
as soon as we were done exploring the museum
we went back outside to head over to the outside palace area
to watch the many guards march in with instruments playing
[i recorded a good portion of it... check it out on youtube ;)]

after watching an entrance march and seeing some joyful children next to us
we went to purchase the tickets for the palace
while standing around,
a group of kids waved hello, and were super excited to see us
young kids were everywhere
afterwards, there was a stand to try out the clothing guards wore
so of course, all the males had to do it
it was like they became celebrities with constant photos
being taken of them at each moment
Kise went first then Ryan followed and soon the whole gang came together
with various poses and being in Korea, we had to complete it with
THE GINYU FORCE~~ =P







we finally entered the palace, but i didn't want to wait for anybody
so i just cruised on my own traveling through each part,
taking awe at the beautiful surrounds
everything felt so amazing and fresh








i eventually had Kise follow me and just tag along
since i had no way of knowing time, i just assumed
we ended up leaving the palace (us two) earlier than expected, but
we got some drinks to quench our thirst from the terrible heat
POCARI SWEAT~~ <3

we ended up returning inside to just chill and relax
we eventually exited the palace again after sitting down for a while
we encountered everyone outside ready to go

as a treat, Proff Jun bought us all these delicious milkshakes in a pouch
of course, i had to grab my favorite flavor of cookies & cream
i had to keep thawing it cause it was completely frozen in the pouch





we ended up walking out of the palace entrance/grounds and
out into the streets to find some dinner
at this point, rain was slowly coming down
and people needed to buy umbrellas
we kept walking until we turned some corner and reached a quaint restaurant
where i first had my delicious bowl of 짜짱면~~!!
while i ate, i enjoyed watching some Happy Together on the tv~~
of course, Minah kept bugging me that i had a good view of 승진
(yes... my temporary crush until i met my cute dorky bf)

after dinner, we did the same routine of walking subway, but our
next destination lead us to 용산
[side note: walks were quite hilarious where heated discussions arose
about Bump Patrol, which a story in itself, and tv shows, music etc]
at this point... it was a debate over how good spongebob is

용산 electronics is pretty much a hugeee mall (mainly electronics)
with floors upon floors of games, movies, equipment etc.
connected to restaurants, shops, and even a movie theater next door
with a stage/courtyard type setting in between the connecting buildings

upon entrance is a huge escalator bringing you to the top
Mel decide to check out some bootlegged DVDs and bought some
apparently, they have awesome quality and
we also took out cash before we entered
at the atm, we met a mother, either american or european, can't remember
who has been in korea for a while
after these ordeals, we finally went outside to the entrance
and clearly there was a mission for everybody else but me
to get 승진 closer to me
i clearly wasn't up for it cause i already knew how he felt
and it didn't feel quite right
but when i saw him sitting i had a sudden urge to just run up to him
and like tap down his baseball cap... something i like to do ><

i started to feel heated and embarrased but that quickly went away as soon
as we entered "electronics heaven"
we mainly walked about checking out games, equipment etc.
i stopped at tv screens seeing that star golden bell was on and
SHINee were guests~~! as well as Wonder Girls mvs too~!
at one point Mel was asking 승진 a question where they were showing or doing
something on the cellphone that i was encouraged to give him a kiss
on the cheek, while he wasn't looking
i didn't do such a thing... too embarrassing

since i knew we were at an electronics mall, might as well find a music store
i had to buy Katie her DBSK CDs and i wanted to see all the goodies
i can possibly want [but too much money to waste]
we went all over the place trying to find this store and we finally found it
i was the one oogling and cruising through the store for hours, while everyone
else seemed uninterested [just Me and Minah]
it was actually quite small, but i found everything i love from
DBSK, Big Bang, SHINee, Super Junior, Clazziquai, Alex etc.
it feels like a wonderland





i eventually did grab all CDs possible minus 'rising sun' cause it was out
and luckily the guys at the counter could see i like DBSK so they gave
me a free poster, which ended up getting beat up badly along the
plane ride back, but still gonna laminate and hang up in my room

we decided to check out the theater next door because we wanted to see
"Wanted" but at this point we were quite tired, exhausted, and hungry
to return to 용산 to watch a movie and my feet were killing me~~

since the movies ended up as a no-go and people were hungry,
two ventured off to a McDs to get food, but since i wasn't into getting any
'american' type food while in korea... i just lounged about in the outside area
while they tried to find the McDs
Mel went along with the two dudes to find it, and us three
[Minah, Steve, and Me]
ended up getting more hungry
so we went to find Mel, but wasn't at McDs when we arrived, but eventually
we found each other
time was ticking until we had to meet up back outside with the whole group
so we entered a restaurant to grab a quick eat, but once again
i ended up not being really hungry and we shared some quality time together
before we had to rush back outside to met up with Jun and the crew

they were surprised and shocked to see my bad of DBSK CDs ^^
we went walking back to the subway line and Sue encouraged 승진
to carry my bag and stuff for me
i was okay, but he instead and he did carried my bag and stuff for me
we rode the subway, walked back to the hotel, and ended our night and our
3rd day in Korea... with smiles ^___________^

my sleeping and eating patterns are wayyyy off lol
i'm trying to get back to the way it used to be, but its going astray
*sigh* i wanna busy myself with work again... and school will be starting soon again
i miss 태진 >.<




DAY 2 - June 27, 2008
창덕궁 ... JUMP ... 인사동


since i went to sleep last night earlier than usual
and this whole jetlag thing wasn't gonna go away in a day or two
i basically woke up around 6:00 AM [crazy... i know >.<]

i had to wake up around 8ish to meet with everyone at the lobby by 9:00 AM
i didn't kno if there was a wakeup call or if 손소 had an alarm on
[which apparently she did]
and my cellphone didn't work at all in Korea, which totally sucked
cause i was going to use it as my alarm clock
[i must remember that for future reference so when i go back... it does work]

just a recap...
landed in Tokyo
[no wonder asians smoke -- huge boxes of cigarettes and lots of alcohol too]
[i also encountered mags with Johnnies on them =P]
the plane to Seoul [actually Incheon] was about 2 hrs long
we took a bus to our hotel in Seoul
and here is a new day

so i found out a lotion in my bag pretty much exploded in my suitcase
i was a little annoyed, but because things don't phase me
and i don't let things ruin my fun
i just cleaned it up with my towel and it was clean ^_^

so i got ready
the bathroom was quite lovely must i add
actually the whole room in general is really nice
i turned on the TV to watch some music videos =O
which of course made me super happy to see things i know lol

before we went down
SonSo gave me a bag of goodies with a fan, soap etc.
but most importantly a miniPass, which is what they use to put money on
and to pass through the subway
its the cutest thing ever... so fashionable even with subway passes >.<





the subway system is quite understandable
not the easiest thing, but i can get myself around
and the subways are quite lovely too
except its quiet and the loudest thing is of course US lol >.<

so we ended up going to our first destination,
which was 창덕궁 [Chang Deok Goong]
its one the Korean palaces... and its HUGE~~





but since we had time to spare to enter the palace
[btw, the weather is quite unbearable... its so hot and humid >.<]
our great tour guide, Mel, lead us to a popular shopping place,
which is quite beautiful too
we went walking and through the underground subway passages to arrive to 인사동





its basically a street full of mini stores and food
[which is another thing...
there is no traffic laws
cars pass by these streets and there is hardly a side walk
so you have to be careful you don't get run over lol >.<]
after just walking and sightseeing everything
we had to return to the palace since it was time

i don't know what to say about the palace... but that its quite big
and there is a lot to see
we ended up having a tour guide, but i hardly listened cause
i was walking about enjoying everything in front of me
it is so hard to describe in words the beauty you see
i was in awe to see all these buildings and the history behind them
that pictures will pretty much tell you everything

after our guide and touring the palace
our next highlight of the day was the comedy martial arts performance of
JUMP~~~~

JUMP was HILARIOUS
and so entertaining
and the actors were quite good looking too~
i will only tell you that it is about a crazy family,
a young couple, and some burglars are involved too
that is it... because i won't ruin the fun =P







after the magical performance of JUMP
we headed over to a beautiful stream, 청계천, in 서울
its a 6km = 3.7 mile stream that keeps flowing
it has lots of plants and rocks for a crosswalk in the middle of the stream
..... you just have to see it to believe the beauty





night was coming upon us so we headed over as a group to 인사동
this time we enjoyed it with professors that have all joined us
and this is quite a story to tell...

so we ended up walking around again. i pretty much feel like i memorized the place
there is a hospital nearby, a cool graffiti picture Mel showed us
we ate dinner in 인사동, the usual large meals with various plates
if you never experienced korean dining... you must try it
lots of different and delicious foods to try from veggies to meat to fish
and never really ask "what is that??"... just try it
it doesn't hurt to try something and find out its quite delicious
[unless you have medical reasons... one person on the trip did]
and then they tell u its an eyeball [KIDDING~~]

one important thing i need to point out about eating out in korea
every meal comes with a container of water [물]
or in smaller places you fill a tin cup of water and u can keep refilling
thanks to korea, i pretty much had to drink lots of water
which is something i don't really do back home >.<
another thing is that restaurants have like a table buzzer
that you press and the waiter comes to you without having to call them out
which i think is such a smart and convenient thing to do

so i see at the other table [since there was two long tables]
i see Mel and Joon enjoying none other than alcohol
[i was sitting next to 승진 ... great times >.<]
but after dinner is over, the professors have the bright idea to go out
and eat some more... with more alcohol
[koreans eat... and they don't stop lol]
and we all know that in korea it is quite legal to drink at like the age of 20
and you gotta try the drink of korea... SOJU~~
my good ol' friend... soju >.<
so we end up traveling to this restaurant to have some more food
but im quite full at this time and since im in korea
and its part of culture to join in drinking. so of course i did

we just laughed about anything and everything
one of the professors said he likes Big Bang
Mel tried to sing this trot song
Ryan was doing shots of water [since he doesn't drink]
we each had to try the buzzer and tell the waiter "water please"
in Korean which is... "물 추세요" i believe its written that way
it was quite an interesting night... which you cannot deny
and always remember proper etiquette when drinking alcohol
you never serve yourself, you serve others
if they are of higher status that you, there is a proper way of doing so etc.
[... Cass beer... thats all u need to say >.<]





yet the night was still not over
and more eating and drinking must be done~~
so if you ever watch korean dramas like i do
and you see those stalls outside on the streets
with like tents, plastic tables and chairs, lots of food and drinks
well, we ended up at one of those
[btw they hang toilet paper at the top of the tent for napkins lol]
we had more soju and it was getting quite chaotic
it was filled with more laughter and jokes

but at one point Mel had too much and he was just about out
so we had to get a taxi and get Mel back to the hotel
Joon went with him only to return with 승진 >.<
Ryan was enjoying this whole drinking thing lol just watching us
so i did have this crush on 승진... but thats long gone
so when he came, Joon and Sue were taunting us to have love shots
and just playing these games

so we did ending having a love shot and doing this one game
where if you say a certain word, the male will take the drink for you
and then the male asks for a wish
as lame as it was ... he asked for a hug
being in the state that i was quite tipsy at this moment, i wanted something more
perhaps a kiss would have been great
soon enough a professor got drunk, which was quite HILARIOUS
cause all he could do was curse and say "Listen Honey~"
he comes up to me all drunk "i can tell u like 승진... im so sorry"
oh boy... the drinking night pretty much ended there.
we sent the professor home in a taxi
and we all got up and started walking back to our hotel

승진 was assigned to take care of me walking back
i was swaying a little and i do have recollection of what happened
walking through the streets you see the same thing
all these stalls, and at least one person drunk and a friend trying to help them
승진 stopped at a restroom as we kept walking
we stopped and waited for him at the end of the street for me to yell
"오빠 ... come quickly~~!"
we arrived, i got to my room safely with the help of 승진
and i pretty much knocked out on my bed just to get ready for Day 3

basically... all this happened in just Day 2 of my trip
and it was just getting started so many more eventful days were coming
gosh i love this place, this trip, the people
feels so good and refreshing to be here

so it has been a while
and i thought it would be right to write down each day's journey in korea & japan
i can't remember every detail, but i can surely remember the best parts
and thru photos and our schedule... i can remember. so here it goes...




DAY 1 - June 25, 2008/June 26, 2008
Flight & Arrival


my day began being nervous, yet excited
i woke up early in the morning to get to the airport 3 hours earlier
i had both my parents and my brother join me to say their goodbyes

i was all ready and packed to go
it was my first time flying a long distance
and actually being in a plane that i can remember
the last time was when i was 9 years old heading to Colombia, but this time
i was heading to the East... KOREA!!

we did the normal airport things @ JFK [btw i was flying through JAL]
like checking in, receiving our boarding pass, checking in our bags
we had time to spare before we go through security and head off to our gate
so i spent some time with my parents just walking around and talking

i was sad to say goodbye to my parents for a while
because i truly love them and
i haven't been away from home in such a long time frame
although i knew this would be a good experience too

when the time came, i eventually had to say goodbye to my family
i started to tear up a bit when i saw my mom doing the same
[aren't mothers the best thing in the world]
as i went through security, which is truly a pain, i waved my final goodbyes to my parents
and on we went to our boarding gate
i was nervous, excited, and just full of many emotions
because i was actually heading off to where i always wanted to go

i was quite nervous/excited on takeoff and during the whole plane ride because i was about to see people i haven't seen in months
and obviously... be in my magical land Korea ^_^
so when i should have slept... i didn't
and when i should have eaten... i ate very little >.<
with all my butterflies in my stomach, it was hard,
but i did have a delicious Japanese drink
it was a citrus drink called Yuzu

on the plane ride, we were able to watch from above/front the outside view
we also could see the current time. flight status. height etc.
it also showed a map of the flight and
what i found interesting was that instead of flying over the ocean
it flew over Canada, thru Alaska to make an arch





this flight was 13 hours long, but it felt like 25 hours
my butt was starting to get sore for sitting for so long
that i had to get up certain periods to stretch myself out
they even had at one point a video on stretching out to avoid such pain

i couldn't help but chuckle and giggle like i usually do
because i saw this Japanese rocker dude
on the plane go down the aisle
not really my type, but he just felt like an
essence of a Japanese man with earrings, the hair, and wore croc shoes...
those gosh awful things >.<

a woman near me kept playing Tetris for the entire plane ride
[yes, im very observant]
i ended up watching Vantage Point and Spiderwick Chronicles again [big mistake!]
i was trying to kill time... which i also
listened to music, played on my DS, played games on the MAGIC
i did see a girl nearby my seat wear Converse sandals... which i totally would want!!
and the mother next to me with her two children [i would presume]
were Chinese cause i could hear her speak in her native tongue... pretty cool!

basically, we ended up arriving the following day, the 26th of June around 5ish @ Incheon
we landed in Tokyo, had to wait about an hour or more to change flights





and then a 2 hour flight from Tokyo to Seoul
we had Professor Joon pick us up along with his wife, Sue
it was a great feeling to finally be there
we had to take a bus from Incheon Airport to the capital, Seoul
which was like another hour or two and by this time i was completely exhausted,
but i didn't want to sleep and miss out on my surroundings
i got to see the great KBS building...
where some of my favorite shows and dramas take place
we had to walk a couple of blocks from the bus stop to the hotel
and that is when the staring started >.<
although i did feel like a celebrity lol





the night followed with us arriving at the hotel, checking in, and showering and changing [within 15 minutes]
because we sure felt quite disgusting after a long plane ride
i was rooming with 손소, but the Koreans haven't arrived yet.
i was in room 901 [so its floor 9]
when we finished, i came down to find out 승진 arrived that i quickly went to his room
and tackled the poor boy when he opened the room
i was sooooooooo happy to see him ^_^

the night followed with us just seeing our surroundings at night and it was quite beautiful
we just walked around two streets...
[i got to see Mel Bear too~!!... i told him to pinch me since everything didn't feel real
i felt like i was in a dream]
we ate at a place nearby where i tried a spicy and hot mandu noodle dish
and i tried kimbap for the first time [YUMMMMMY~~]
[승진 has a haptic cellphone~ OMO~!]
at this point i was completely tired, dizzy, and i just needed a bed
while everyone else enjoyed the night out doing who knows what
i need to be energized for the next days
so i went straight to bed after all of it cause i could of toppled over at any moment
[before i did so... i turned on the TV to encounter Happy Together]

the room was quite lovely... and that was the end of my first day in Korea <3

what to say...
i ended another semester of college, thankfully
and with everything done which is even better


but now that summer break has arrived that just means
i'm going to be working at blockbuster [my job since february]
everyday with like two days off at least


hopefully, i can make a bunch of money before my trip
to korea and japan in the end of june
so i can just spend almost all of it over there on food and goodies!


i recently went on an outing after work to go see Iron Man
[which was so amazing and awesome!!!]
with Derick, a friend i made who comes by blockbuster a few times
and knows my assistant manager, Juan, pretty well too

he thinks im cute and i have an amazing smile
[why thank you ^_^] lol =P


besides that i really don't want any relationships with anyone
i don't want any burden, but just pure friendly friendships
plus all on my mind is asians
which i know sounds pretty arrogant or enclosed
but its what makes me truly happy... reason y im soooo psyched for this trip!!



and just to mention
on a lil side note




i am sooooo in *love* with Micky Yoochun, Massu, and DBSK <3
those three things make the world go round for me hehe

so i decided to start off with SS501
just cause its the smallest and quickest thing to do a drabble on lol


THEY HAVE RETURNED!
YES!! SS501 has made a comeback to Korea after being in Japan for a while
and im soooo happy because their new MV is the bomb diggity

i can't stop listening to all three songs on my ipod
that i have to hear them all the time on my way to school and going home
it's THAT addicting...

but the most shocking thing... which i don't know if it is a rumor or not
is that DSP is declaring a war with SM Ent.
so the SS501 boys plan to defeat DBSK in Japan

now i don't know if that is true or not, but they are friends
and it's really a stupid thing to do cause DBSK is just way stronger than SS501
[but i love them both]

so i know people have heard that Tablo made a small cameo in August Rush
so now that i work part time on the weekends at Blockbuster
i decided to rent it and check it out for myself

i recommend the movie to everyone because it is a truly touching story
and i love music so it makes it 10x better


so i can't take screenshots with a dvd playing
so i just grabbed my digi camera and took some photos of our great TABLO <33

clearly i haven't been on LJ
since forever

im truly sorry my dear LJ, but i work on the weekends
i go to school full time during the week
im a sophomore turning junior in college
which means that things do get more hectic along the way

its almost the end of the semester and i have a 10 page japanese paper to do and three projects to accomplish in a very short amount of time

i will truly shower you with more love now
and during the summer to show my appreciation for LJ
*good source for venting*

for now i just wanted to say that I MISS YOU, and i shall make some longggg post
about EVERYTHING i can possibly think of in the fandom
from DBSK - SUJU - SS501 - Big Bang- Shinhwa - NEWS - Wonder Girls - SNSD - DRAMAS - Boys <3

Korean Project
Day 2:




well... i woke up today with muscle pain in my arms and neck
but that did not stop me from having a GREAT day!

i had to wake up early, as usual, to get to school
since i have no car but thats beside the point
@ 9:15 we finally got together to head over to the train station
we stopped in hoboken to enter the path train to the world trade center

the world trade center was truly something a site to see
cause i haven't been that close
we crossed over to St. Paul's Chapel
we headed over to wall street
then we had to catch the boat to head over to the Statue of Liberty and Ellis Island

i honestly love New York!
the boat rides were fun on top
i was connecting with people especially
a lil shoutout to Mel! ur the man! lol
and thanks for making me a character with cool poison powers. YOU ROCK!

there isn't much to say bout the statue of liberty and ellis island since
its the same... you can't walk all the way to the top...
the view is delightful
after the whole boat/island hopping trip
we got to see cool acrobatic street performers

the american-indian museum was our next stop
we split into groups who wanted to eat and who would enter first
i joined the koreans with two other students to enter the museum
and decided we would save our stomachs for all the "good" food later *wink*

it was pretty lame but at one point we sat down with them
and we practiced korean
by reading from one of the korean travel guides of new york
i was impressed with myself and so was the lead korean professor [he is pretty awesome!]
i also connected with the youngest korean which is a girl
she gave me a korean name: 기아 (Gia) which means Wisdom Child lol
i also wrote dbsk and suju names and showed her my ipod of videos
i showed her YSMM i had and we both named the people on the show haha
oh i love korea. koreans. everything!

we finally got to make our way to KOREA TOWN!
we rode the subway over and it was delightful to see korean signs and people weee!
[and its only NYC... imagine Korea =P]
we were walking along and i saw a poster/sign for the drama Coffee Prince
and i was like "OMG! i know that drama!!"... yeah im totally weird
but we got to eat at a korean restaurant which was absolutely delicious
soooo many side dishes that i was amazed
i did not know what i was eating but it was good

its sooo cool with the burners on the table. so much food
i had
볼고기 Bool Ko Ki (sliced rib eye steak marinated in house special sauce)
새우 볶음밥 Sae Woo Bok Eum Bap (fried rice with shrimps and veggies)
찐만두 Jjin Man Doo (steamed dumplings)
and a cool dairy drink at the end
after mel. phil. and i headed quickly to the korean supermarket cause they wanted korean drinks
and its like a sea of everything delicious haha
us three scurried over to penn station
to head over back to bloomfield where we ended our day =[
but i had loads of fun
although my feet do hurt

can't wait for Korea in the summer! ;)

i apologize for the longgggg time
i have not written in my LJ
it's because i was off doing other things with people
*cough dbskdvdbigbangsuperjuniorfriendsrantingabouteverythingkorean cough*

but anyhoo, ima start a mini blog type thing
for everyday of the korean project
and here is DAY 1:



so today i was extremely nervous that my hand was shaking
i was the first to arrive *no surprise*
that i was sent off on a mission to buy sodas and drinks
my hands were killing me from walking to CTown back to the school lol

i met up with my good ol' pals at school: Steve, Mina. Ryan. Phil. (Mel joined us too!)
and i was sooo anxiously waiting for the group
we hung around in the circus arts room we like to call it
and prepared the food for heating etc.
they walk in and im like OMG! lol
i wanted to be like "omg i love korea. the music. language. movies etc. take me with you" haha
but i dont wanna be a freak of course

they ended up going outside for a while
where i was so nervous but joined them to introduce myself
and i walk outside and just blurted out 안녕하세요
they seemed pretty impressed by my korean pronunciation haha
they are so kind. polite. and nice
there are three girls and two boys plus the professor -- ages range from 22 to like 27
there is an animation student. korean history student. multimedia student. it ranges.

we later returned to the main room to grab food and eat.
we sat with some and tried to discuss different topics like pets. music. anime lol
i finally got to display my love for korea by telling them the groups i listen to
and they were like "oh yeah yeah" cause they actually know what im talking about
i wanted to laugh when i told them about how i really like Coffee Prince
and she asks "you like Gong Yoo" and im like "oh yeah" haha
that felt prettty good!

before we were able to give them a tour of the CAT building
we received presents!
i got the expensive gift according to the professor
which was a sweet lil mirror and comb + a cute lil pencil case
now that made my day even more
a friend of mine got the cool animal hats... some got book mark charms and what not
we finally gave them a tour of all the rooms from animation to video room and the theater.

in the end, we gathered together to discuss the itinerary for the week
which is gonna be loadddsss of fun! NYC trips!! WOO!
so tomorrow we got Statue of Liberty/Ellis Island trip plus either KoreaTown or ChinaTown
im supper pumped!
i gotta go eat!

i love this day and the weekend that comes
cause i love goin to the festival
i went with my mom.
where i got to buy myself a huge flag to hang in my room and represent!
i really love my country [although i am 50%]


the music. the food. the people

the 4th week of camp is over
so here comes the 5th and final week of camp


oh man. i had the best times in dismissal this week
just cause the guys play kickball
where i encountered my new 10 year old boyfriend =P
hahaha. we tease him.
"oh do ur best superstar... she is watching"

plus all this week ive been getting these gross sweatful hugs
EWWWW! >_<
oh im gonna miss camp. really!



HARRY POTTER!
and i am finally at the end of the 6th book
and i bought the 7th book saturday morning at costco
i hugggggeeed it!
i am super excited to read it
although a jerk of a friend i have ruined some of it already
im just gonna erase it from my mind.
or try to.



plus i had a mini-bbq with the family.
my aunt and uncle came over
... once again i was teased about my asian loves lol
but my uncle is the best. keeps me laughing everyyyytime!



and then my brother finally came home after a few days in Florida
for his swimming competition
im glad he is back. just cause i feel better that he is safe at home
but at the same time
i cant stand seeing him
ARGH! lol

so another week has passed of camp
the third week is over with only two more to go
i finally got my paycheck on wednesday! ^^


it was an intense week of camp
cause two/three campers got on my nevers the entire week!
but thankfully one said that they wont return YES! haha


i spent my dismissal times in the gym
where i had people visit me lol
there has been the relationship drama between two friends
i got in a fight with skip but we reconciled
and then eddie kissed me on the cheek =O
-- wha a flirt =P --


but anyhoo
Hee Chul's birthday was on Tuesday
but i didnt get around to making a banner or nething for him
cause either i've been

a. busy with the family
b. tired from work or
c. hanging with my friends

but HAPPY BIRTHDAY HEE CHUL!!! <333



which brings me to remember
that my family from new hampshire/colombia is here for the week
well i got to spend time in NY with them on sunday
OMG SO MANY ASIANS!!! =O
and i saw like 100% pure japanese rockers. i swear. it was amazing! lol
plus i finally entered that japanese store in Rockefeller Plaza
and i saw the Duet. Myojo. Potato mags and NEWS Touch CD
i need to go back with lots of cash =P cause it was pure heaven!


i also got to go the shore with them on thursday
so i took off from work
but it was pretty boring cause i had no one to really chill with >_<
this sunday im supposed to return to the shore
with the camp staff crew to Okeefie's beach house
woot!!


lastly, its a late post
but Happy Birthday to Shige!!!
who is now better looking than ever!
and i kno katie hates the guy
BUT I LOVE HIM! [not as much as massu though] ;)






i need to update more regularly
but i've been lazy and busy
oh well. ^^
